PURPOSE

The Mike Weber Sr. Memorial Foundation is an IRS-designated 501(c)3 charitable organization, founded to honor Mike's legacy by funding rare cancer research, supporting those who are currently battling, and contributing towards the college education of student-athletes at River Dell High School.

Our primary source of fundraising is a local golf outing at White Beeches Golf and Country Club, which is held on an annual basis in July. While this outing provides a platform to collect donations, it also allows friends and family to gather and celebrate Mike's life while enjoying his favorite hobby - something we value with even greater importance.

INSPIRATION

Our inspiration is, and always will be to honor the legacy of Michael James Weber, who after a 3-year battle with appendix cancer, consisting of multiple surgeries and countless rounds of chemotherapy, passed away on June 10th, 2016, at the age of 54.  Throughout those 3 years, Mike was undoubtedly one of the toughest “S.O.B.’s” on the planet.  The words “courageous” and “relentless” do not even come close to doing him justice, and ultimately his body just could not keep up with his spirit.

A devoted family man, Mike lived a rich life by creating countless memories filled with happiness, laughter, and pure love alongside family and friends.  He had a knack for making people feel special, and his larger than life personality always lit up the room.

Mike worked diligently throughout the years, building his own successful company (Weber Packaging) while staying involved in the local community by coaching Oradell junior athletics (Baseball and Football) for over 20 years.  He is now amongst the angels playing golf, causing a commotion at the Blackjack table, and proudly rooting for the New York Yankees, Kansas City Chiefs, and New York Jets.
